H2S Monitoring

Redline Monitors

Our Monitors range from 2-channel up to a 24-channel. In-between we have a 4-channel, 8-channel and 16-Channel. You can specify Color of strobe: Red, Blue and Amber. You can also request AC Power Cord or hole and cord grip on the monitors.

2-Channel

The 2 channel monitor is a 12-24 volt DC input only. The unit has two relays for high and low alarms. You can adjust the set points for the high and low alarm from the monitor. These are use for pulling units, work over rigs and storage tank farms. This unit also accepts 4-20 inputs so you could have wired or wireless.

4-Channel

The 4 Channel Monitor is an AC/ DC input with 4 relays that can be selected for output by moving a fuse to make dry, AC or DC contacts. On the display there are 12 LEDs to display which alarm is going off. The alarm set points are adjustable in the set alarm mode and are displayed during settings. Each of the 4 relays can be set independently. We also have a 4-Channel that uses 4-20 inputs for wired heads (4-Channel Combo)

8-Channel

The 8 Channel Monitor is an AC/ DC input with 4 relays that can be selected for output by moving a fuse to make dry, AC or DC contacts. 24 LEDs give a quick view of the channel in alarm. There is a 485 output string that can show the activity on hyper terminal. This shows the ppm and battery voltage as well as the signal strength of the H2S head. The alarm set points are adjustable in the set alarm mode and are displayed during settings. Each of the 4 relays can be set independently. (Monitor can use 232 communications if specified)

We have Optional Modules for 8 Channels 4-20 MA output for PLC it just pugs into the Main Board. Also a module for 4-20 MA input, this is 4 channels.

16 Channel Monitor

The 16-Channel Monitor is similar with the 8-Channel and 24-Channel. The only difference is it has 2 displays. The 16 Channel Monitor is an AC/ DC input with 4 relays that can be selected for output by moving a fuse to make dry, AC or DC contacts. 24 LEDs(X2) give a quick view of the channel in alarm.

24 Channel Monitor

The 24 Channel Monitor Is Exactly the same as a 16 and 8 channel monitor except you have 3 displays. These monitors have an AC/ DC input with 4 relays that can be selected for output by moving a fuse to make dry, AC or DC contacts. 24 LEDs(X3) give a quick view of the channel in alarm. There is a 485 output string that can show the activity on hyper terminal. This shows the ppm and battery voltage as well as the signal strength of the H2S head. The alarm set points are adjustable in the set alarm mode and are displayed during settings. Each of the 4 relays can be set independently. (Monitor can use 232 communications if specified) This set up is perfect on sites were you will need plenty of sensors which you can mix for example you could have 16 H2S and 8 LEL if needed.

Wireless H2S heads

The H2S heads operates 2.4 gig radios for international approvals. Unit is powered by 6 AA batteries, depending on request. If it’s a solar panel Wireless H2S head the unit will be powered by Rechargeable batteries. The unit has non intrusive calibration done with a magnet so you will not need to open the lid. Heads report to the monitor every five minutes to show active heads, and if gas is seen it reports every five seconds setting the alarms off at the monitor. The sensor used is an electrochemical and therefore other gases can be detected using different types of sensors on request. All our wireless H2S heads work with all our monitors. “Regular” Wireless H2S head (top left), Solar Panel Wireless H2S Head(top right) Wireless H2S w/Antenna (bottom left) Wireless H2S Head-Blue (bottom right)
